Join the founder and Barbara and Edward Netter director of the Netter Center, Ira Harkavy (C'70, GR'79, PAR'01, PAR'06), and alumni over the decades as they discuss how their Penn and Netter Center experiences shaped their civic and professional lives and the relevance for higher education today.

Copies of Community-Engaged Scholarship: Reflections from Netter Center Alumni (Penn Press, 2025), will be shared with participants. This book is a collection of stories told by alumni (including speaker Tamara Dubowitz) whose paths were profoundly influenced by engaging with the West Philadelphia community as Penn students.
