Rita Axelroth Hodges
Rita has been involved with the work of the Netter Center for Community Partnerships since the early 2000s as a Penn undergraduate and student of Ira Harkavy's. She served as the Netter Center's Research Coordinator for a few years, and in 2011, she became the Assistant Director. Rita lived in Colorado for a few years in the interim and served as an independent consultant in the fields of K-20 education policy and university-community partnerships. Rita is author (with Steve Dubb) of the The Road Half Traveled: University Engagement at a Crossroads (Michigan State University Press, 2012). Rita is pursuing her EdD in Higher Education from Penn's Graduate School of Education.
