Emilio Parrado Honored For Long-Running Community Partnership Efforts

Emilio Parrado, Dorothy Swaine Thomas Professor of Sociology, has received the 2025 Provost/Netter Center Faculty-Community Partnership Award for his long-standing community work and endeavors. He received the $10,000 award alongside the Centro de Cultura, Arte, Trabajo, y Educación (CCATE), a nonprofit dedicated to the Latinx community and based in Norristown, Pennsylvania.
