University-Assisted Community Schools (UACS) Fall Celebration at Hamilton School - Oct. 13

As part of the Netter Center’s 30th anniversary, Hamilton school, community, and Penn partners will come together to showcase and celebrate comprehensive University-Assisted Community School (UACS) programming that occurs during the school day, after school, and summer. The event will include hands-on demonstrations of school-based partnership activities around the environment, sports, fitness, nutrition, and mental and behavioral health, including gardening activities for Penn Climate Week with the Philadelphia Orchard Project. All members of the school community (students, staff, families), Penn students and faculty, the Netter Community Advisory Board, Netter staff, and other campus and community partners, including from other UACS sites, are invited. Penn President Liz Magill will help kick off this UACS fall celebration.

Please join us in the IMC/Library (3rd Floor) for special remarks at 3:00pm sharp! Refreshments will be provided.
