Associate Director and Director Penn Volunteers In Public Service (VIPS)

Isabel Sampson-Mapp, CSW, Associate Director Staff, Faculty, Alumni Volunteer Service/Director Penn Volunteers In Public Service (VIPS) in the Netter Center for Community Partnerships at the University of Pennsylvania. She is responsible for creating and managing volunteer activities for faculty, staff and alumni. Isabel organizes volunteers programs that benefit the surrounding community. In her role, Isabel manages several programs that include, but are not limited to operating the Nonprofit Institute, leading the Marie K. Bogle Scholarship sponsored by Penn Volunteers In Public Service and the Office of Business Services, coordinating several mentoring programs, conducting University-wide drives (school supplies, toys, food) that benefit members of the community, and she is responsible for sharing with the community resources such as furniture, electronics, and office supplies no longer in use by the University.

Isabel is actively involved in creating mutually beneficial partnerships with the University of Pennsylvania and the surrounding West Philadelphia community.
