City Council Honors Penn's Dr. Harkavy

If the legendary singer James Brown was the hardest working man in show business, then Dr. Ira Harkavy has to be the hardest working professor at the University of Pennsylvania and the Edward and Barbara Netter Center for Community Partnerships.  

Last Thursday, May 14, 2015, City Council and Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell honored the accomplished works of Dr. Ira Harkavy whose contributions have placed Penn in front of the charge of colleges in the country to understand what community partnerships are with its neighbors.
